Calling all young creators! Join us for a super fun and hands-on zine-making workshop designed just for kids. Led by Yass artist Sara Phemister, this workshop is all about cutting, pasting, drawing, and creating your very own mini magazine!

Zines are an amazing way to tell stories, make cool art, and have fun with friends—and the best part? There are NO rules!

🎨 What kids will do:
✅ Make their own unique zine from scratch
✂️ Cut, paste, draw, and collage with fun materials
📖 Create a little book all about their favorite things!

📌 All materials provided! Kids can also bring along special bits and pieces like stickers, photos, or magazine cutouts to personalize their zine.

💡 Perfect for ages 8-18
☕ Tea & juice provided for a creative boost!

Sara Phemister is a painter living and working on Ngunnawal Country. She has exhibited extensively over the last 28 years, predominately in the Canberra, Southern Tablelands and South Coast areas. Her show at Tyger Gallery in 2024, At Home With, was a huge hit with gallery visitors.
