Join us for the Tipu Mātoro: Tairāwhiti Rangatahi Gathering, a dynamic and engaging event dedicated to empowering our young leaders and fostering critical discussions about the future of the Tairāwhiti region. This gathering is a unique opportunity for rangatahi (youth) to come together, share their voices, and connect with each other and leaders.
We are honoured to have renowned economist Shamubeel Eaqub as our keynote speaker. Shamubeel will provide an insightful analysis on the future of the Tairāwhiti region, delving into economic trends and opportunities. He will also offer a comprehensive post-Budget analysis with a specific focus on how the recent Budget impacts youth in our region. This is a valuable chance to gain a deeper understanding of the economic landscape and its implications for our community.
The event will also feature a panel of rangatahi discussing hot topics that matter to them. These young leaders will share their perspectives, experiences, and ideas, sparking conversations that are both thought-provoking and inspiring. Following the panel, there will be interactive discussion sessions where attendees can engage directly, exchange ideas, and collaborate on solutions to the challenges we face.
Who Should Attend:
This event is open to all rangatahi (15 to 25) in the Tairāwhiti Region who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.
