The masterclass covers cannabis micropropagation, including induction, sterilization techniques, plant cutting, and explant preparation. Synthetic Seeds Techniques: Cannabis is a plant with tantrums. It doesn't like it when it’s too hot or too cold. But, there’s a way you can do the cold storage of the plant by using synthetic seeds. Learn how to make them and use them to store Cannabis for a longer time.

During this part of the cannabis tissue culture master class, students will learn about long-term storage solutions for their cannabis plants, specifically the use of synthetic seeds.

The focus will be on synthetic seeds, a technique used to store cannabis plant material at low temperatures.
Students will learn how to make synthetic seeds using sodium alginate.
They will also learn how to encapsulate cannabis explants in the alginate matrix and store them for long-term storage.
