Rebel Co

Know yourself. Rewrite the rules. Rebel together.

This is not a wellbeing workshop.

We’re not going to tell you to sleep more, exercise more, manage your time better, set firmer boundaries or become more resilient. Doctors already know that stuff.

Too much of the wellbeing conversation starts with the same assumption, the problem is you.

We think it’s time to look at the whole picture, what this work does to us, the relationships and pressures that can leave us feeling trapped, and the organisational and systemic forces shaping how we practise.

There is a movement growing of doctors pushing back against the idea that sacrificing ourselves is simply part of being a good doctor, and finding different ways to practise.

We want you to leave with a better understanding of the toll this work can take on us, practical ways to recognise and respond to the relationships and pressures that can leave us feeling trapped, and a sense of solidarity with other doctors who believe there has to be a better way to practise.

The choice doesn’t have to be put up with it or walk away.
