Event description
Guided breath work session, cold water immersion (always optional), trigger point therapy/ stretching and knowledge to enhance overall wellness through the breath.
The benefit of breath work is becoming more well known due to the evidence behind methods such as the wim hof method, and a variety of Buteyko breath techniques which enhance the mind and body in a simple yet effective way.
Come and join coach Bec Edwards who is a Qualified Wim Hof Instructor & Oxygen Advantage Coach with a Background in Exercise Science and Myotherapy/Remedial Massage.
Bec will be teaching self trigger point therapy for releasing the diaphragm muscle and stretching of the torso to allow for deep and free breathing.
followed by a guided breath work session and optional cold water immersion in the large pools at TLC recovery and wellness centre.
You will gain the knowledge and practical benefits of a deep slow efficient breath. What does this mean?
