TLC Volunteering - Cider gum cage maintenance
Event description
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Tasmanian Land Conservancy. Your contribution goes a long way to preserving Tasmania’s rare and beautiful ecosystems.
Join us at Five Rivers Reserve in the Central Highlands to maintain cider gum cages. The cages allow regrowth to get past the most vulnerable (and tasty!) young stages without constant browsing by herbivores. Find out more at The trees that wept cider - Australian Geographic
If you are willing and able to participate, please register your interest. Although we would like to include as many people as possible, there is a limited number of spaces which will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We will contact you with more details based on availability.
If you have any questions, please contact Gemma Dyke at volunteering@tasland.org.au.
