TMBC Biocontrol Workshop

TMBC are hosting a biocontrol workshop on Thursday 12th October in Tauranga.  We will joined by Hugh Gourlay (Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research), Dr Toni Withers (Scion, Rotorua),  Bay of Plenty Regional Council Biosecurity Team (Greg Corbett, Chris MacKay, Cameron Wolting) and Hayden Henry (TMBC Maori Caucus).

We will cover off:

• biocontrol basics (weeds and pest insects)
• how biocontrol is used in the Bay of Plenty

• how our region benefits from biocontrol
• secrets to biocontrol success, reassurances about safety, cost benefits and much more!
