TMBC Workshop | Biosecurity Awareness Training
Event description
TMBC would like to invite you to the Biosecurity Awareness Training facilitated by Gerard Moore (Moorebrook Ltd) on Tuesday 11th June. This training is ideal for response partners, including iwi, hapū, community organisations, industry, business, science and mātauranga Māori experts, central government, and local government. The workshop aims to:
- Increase awareness and understanding of biosecurity threats and potential impacts allowing attendees to become more proactive protecting the region and know where to go for support.
- Share knowledge/learnings within your own networks.
- Gain greater acceptance of responding to an incursion.
- Motivate attendees to establish new systems within their industry e.g. contingency plans and procedures.
- Understand how to become CIMS qualified.
