Toast n Roast

Slow Fermented Beer. Slow Cooked Beef.

An arvo with the founders of Your Mates

Winter is built for dark beer, low n slow cooking and proper chats over a table.

As part of the Curated Plate Sunshine Coast, Toast n Roast is a limited, seated tasting experience hosted by the founders of Your Mates Brewing Co, celebrating local produce, bold winter beers and the craft behind both.

The Experience

You’ll be guided through a curated lineup of four winter beers, including rare releases that have been slow fermented and matured for 24 months in oak barrels.

We’ll talk through:
• The barrel ageing process
• How flavour develops over time
• Why winter beers hit different
• The stories behind each brew

Each beer is served as a tasting pour so you can experience the full range.

The Beer Lineup

• Blueys Red IPA
• Milky Bar White Chocolate Imperial Stout
• Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout
• Donnie Smoked Porter

The Food

A proper winter feed built to match the beers, showcasing quality local ingredients.

Slow braised Kilcoy beef brisket in smoky Donnie porter, layered with molten Maleny cheese, sweet beer braised local peppers and onions, served in a soft toasted bun with hop salted fries on the side.

Simple. Local. Bloody delicious.
