The Tobacco Pouch Class will be a hands on experience that will introduce you to leathercraft and you are supporting a Veterans Charity at the same time.

You will learn to craft your own leather tobacco pouch and customise it the way you want to.

The class will include: Instruction by our very experienced leather instructor and assisted by our other leathercraft volunteers who will provide expert guidance and instruction every step of the way. You will learn the fundamentals of leatherworking, including pattern making, cutting, stitching or lacing, edge finishing, and assembly. You will work with high-quality leather and professional tools under guidance of our instructor. All materials and hardware to complete the project are included.

You can customize and personalize your tobacco pouch to suit your taste. **Please note that standard hardware is included in brass or nickel. If you want to add any embellishments such as conchos or decorative rivets on the pouch, these will incur extra costs which vary with each embellishment and can be paid for on the day**C

To ensure individualized attention and a supportive learning environment, our workshop classes have limited seats. This allows our instructors to provide personalized guidance, answer your questions, and offer feedback tailored to your progress. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow participants, fostering a sense of community and shared learning.

By the end of the class, you will have crafted a beautiful and functional leather tobacco pouch either for yourself or as a gift for someone special

The class also includes tea and coffee and morning tea and snacks. We do have soft drinks and bottled water available for purchase. Our facility has a full kitchen, with microwave and fridge so you can bring your own lunch or there are a number of food establishments nearby.
