Description

Ages 18+
Thursdays , April 10th - May 15th
6:30 - 8 PM
$250 for 6 weeks

About the class:

In this intro-level class you will learn the basics of short story structure while closely examining the more complex elements of the art form (such as point-of-view, tone, syntax, and diction). The close reading of several classics of the genre—along with some lesser-known pieces—will provide a broad base from which to build your skills as a storyteller. If you’re new to writing short stories, or if you’re new to writing in general, this will be an excellent place to start.

By the end of this class, you will have completed multiple drafts of your first (and, if time allows, your second) short story.
