Toeing the Party Line AOD perspectives on policy and practice in out-of-home care for young people
Event description
A conference brought to you in partnership by Chisholm’s Community and Social Services Department and YSAS.
Join us for a conference tackling substance use in out-of-home care. This event brings together youth workers, AOD practitioners, residential care providers, policymakers, and educators to address the challenges of zero-tolerance policies in residential settings.
We will examine how these approaches can escalate risk, fragment care, and criminalise young people, while exploring meaningful ways to support them.
