Join us to celebrate TOFF 2025!

We invite you to celebrate The Other Film Festival’s 21st birthday. We are launching our 2025 program on Wednesday, 12 November at ACMI at Fed Square.

Enjoy a selection of local shorts from this year’s program at the launch.

Also, we are awarding the 2025 Stella Young Award.

When: Wednesday 12 November, 2.30 – 5 pm

Where: Swinburne Studio, ACMI, Flinders St, Melbourne and online

Access: Wheelchair accessible, audio loop, audio described, Auslan, captioning, quiet room, assistance animals welcome, support staff available.

Your health and safety are our top priority. Please do not attend this event in person if unwell.

Dress Code: Dress up or dress down. (Please wear what’s comfortable for you!)

The 2025 Program

Enjoy a selection of the best local and international films by Deaf and Disabled creatives. In Melbourne and online Australia-wide at ACMI Cinema 3, accessible and free. Screening Thursday 20 November to Wednesday 3 December. All films will be captioned and audio described.

The Other Film Festival (TOFF) is a ground-breaking disability-led program that places Deaf and Disabled people at the centre of the Australian screen industry. Founded in 2004, TOFF is Australia’s first international disability film festival and a leader in the global disability screen advocacy movement.
