Event description

SiTara’s Story has been at the heart of building bridges across cultures in Australia. Through storytelling, advocacy, and community programs, we have created safe spaces for Australians to share experiences, challenge stereotypes, and strengthen social harmony. From supporting underprivileged families to amplifying migrant voices in public debates, our work has always centred on unity, dignity, and hope for a stronger Australia.

In times when division and fear are growing louder, your support helps us continue telling stories that bring people together, foster understanding, and remind us of the Australia we can all be proud of—united, inclusive, and strong.

SiTara’s Story invites you to a twilight gathering in the red shade of Canberra on 19 October. Let’s come together—not to divide—but to share our stories, and celebrate a stronger Australia.

Here’s what awaits you at our gala evening:

  • Inspirational Keynote Address by Craig Foster AM – an evening highlight on leadership and social impact

  • Gourmet Dinner – a beautifully curated menu to savour

  • Curated Drinks Selection – enjoy fine wines and beverages throughout the night

  • Live Musical Performances – setting the perfect ambience

  • Exciting Raffle Draw – with special prizes to be won

  • Multicultural Art & Craft Exhibition – a celebration of creativity and diversity

  • Meaningful Connections – network with inspiring and passionate individuals

Craig Foster AM is one of Australia’s most respected former athletes, broadcasters and social justice advocates. With 29 caps for the Socceroos including as the 40th National Captain, Veteran of a 20+ year broadcast career with SBS television, part of the triple Logie-winning SBS World Cup football coverage and now covering the beautiful game with Stan Australia. As the sun sets, let us remind ourselves: it always rises again. Together, so will we.
