Description

We all deserve to shape our futures and make decisions for our communities. That’s what Treaty is about - and together, we can defend it.

The journey to Treaty has been years in the making: transparent, inclusive and backed by thousands of First Nations people across Victoria.

But now, Jess Wilson's Liberal National Coalition - along with One Nation - has threatened to tear up Treaty for cheap political points if elected this November. This would destroy a decade of work by our Elders and communities.

With the state election just weeks away, it's time for everyone who cares about Treaty and First Nations justice to show up in solidarity.

By coming together in huge numbers on Jess Wilson's doorstep, together we'll send a message she can't ignore: Victorians back Treaty.

At this event, you'll have the chance to:

  • Hear from guest speakers including Gellung Warl Co-Chairs, Meriki Onus and Djaran Murray-Jackson, about the Treaty journey and the positive impacts of Treaty for First Peoples across Victoria

  • Learn more about the Together for Treaty campaign and practical steps to show your support: from putting up a poster, to volunteering on election day

  • Join a strong demonstration of community solidarity that can put local support for Treaty in the headlines

RSVP now and invite your friends, family and neighbours to be part of it!
