Description
Sydney Community Song Circle for Peace
Saturday 26th September 3:00–5:00 pm
All voices welcome. Event is free but registration is necessary
St Peters Hall 331 Old South Head Road Watsons Bay
Join us for a joyful evening of community singing, connection, rhythm and song as we come together in the ancient medicine of singing together.
Throughout history, people have gathered in times of uncertainty, conflict and change to sing. Across every culture, songs have carried hope, comfort, courage and peace, reminding us of our shared humanity.
In a world where so many people are affected by war, division and suffering, we invite you to join us for a heartfelt afternoon of community singing for peace.
In a world that can feel divided and disconnected, we gather to reconnect with ourselves, with each other, and with the simple joy of raising our voices together.
Singing in community has been shown to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, lift mood, create belonging, and open the heart. When we sing together, we remember that we are not along and we all belong.
All are welcome in this circle all ages, all cultures, all voices
Together we’ll share uplifting, easy-to-learn songs from many traditions, with rhythm, harmony, movement and plenty of joy. No singing experience is needed — just bring your voice, your heart and your presence.
