Event description

Three-day workshop with well-known sculptor, George Andrews.  Limited numbers, so get in quick!

Under step-by-step instruction, participants will create each other’s head in clay! Suitable for absolute beginners with no art experience.

Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd of November create your head under instruction and guidance from George Andrews.  George will make sure you measure correctly and so ensure you have the right perspective for an identifiable life size head of your workshop partner.

9 November; your sculpture will have dried to a stage where you will now hollow out the head. George will then dry and bisque fire your work.  At a later date (to be arranged) you may like to take your work further with glaze and a raku firing. This will be organised on the last day of your 3 day workshop.

George assures us his workshop works just as well (maybe even better) for absolute beginners as those with considerably more clay/ pottery experience.  The workshop has been run previously with great results.
