Thank you for buying a ticket to the: Tom Harrington – SAN REMO secret backyard show this Friday! Co-Headline with ‘Maddy May’ and special guests ‘ofthewild’.

This tour has been a dream of mine for quite some time and it’s going to be such a beautiful night! This email provides important details for the event, so please make sure everyone in your booking has received it as it may end up in spam sometimes!

Before revealing the location, it’s important to lay out some small expectations to make sure this event goes super smooth.

WHAT TO BRING:

Rug/blanket and cushions. There will be a couple of spare rugs at the front already set up if you arrive early.
or camp chairs*. Please set these up further to the back of the yard. *recommended if it has been raining earlier that day
Food and drinks. It’s a picnic/platter style event but you do you. Bring an esky if needed. (BYO alcohol is permitted but please be responsible)
Water – please bring your own water to stay hydrated
Insect repellent – In case of mozzies (please spray away from other guests)
Camera – it’s good for the gram (and your memory bank)
A jumper – it may get colder later into the evening

TRAVEL AND PARKING:

Free parking on the steet. Car-pooling is heavily encouraged to reduce street traffic outside the home of the host. We don’t want any grumpy neighbours so please be courteous with your parking options, eg. Don’t park adjacent to another car if it is a narrow street or cars will honk all through the event. Please ensure you’re not blocking any driveways or mounting the curbs and plan your trip home if you intend on drinking alcohol.

ENTERING AND LEAVING THIS EVENT:

The side access on the right leads up to the backyard. Please keep noise/disturbances to a minimum when arriving and leaving so as not to disturb neighbours. It is your responsibility to take care on any uneven or loose surfaces as these are not public walkways. Ask for assistance if required. Please be respectful of the beautiful property which has been donated for the event.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

Gates are opening at 6pm to make the most of the sunlight/sunset and give you time to mingle prior to first act starting (this is an event you attend for the whole time, if possible, rather than just catching the final act).
Get your ticket scanned at the gate as you enter down the side of the house, find a spot to lay your rug near the front (there may be some provided if you get in early). Set up your platter/drinks and relax.
If you are bringing chairs instead of rugs, please sit in the back half of the yard to allow others to see
The hosts have agreed to let guests use their bathroom for this show so please be ultra-respectful of the house etc.
First act will commence around 6:30pm, and they are very good, you don’t want to miss out on one second!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

House shows have been some of the beautiful and impactful shows I’ve ever attended and they only work if everyone is respectful, attentive and willing to get involved. Please hold off loud discussions whilst the artists are story-telling or in quieter moment of song, it can really detract from everybody else’s experience.

There is a strict no d#ckhead policy in place and anyone being a nuisance may be asked to kindly remove themselves from the event. Children are expected to be attentive audience members and respectful to the property and must be supervised at all times. Dancing and singalongs are always encouraged! - There is also a vintage stage light near the mixing console/sound desk table which can become quite hot! It will be blocked off but please take extra care around this area!

WEATHER:

This is an outdoor event, so we are at the mercy of the weather. However the forecasts look great, showing no rain with a high of 21 degrees/ low of 10 degrees. Please bring a blanket and jumper as it will get cold.

In the event of rain: Camp chairs may be a better option than rugs if the ground is damp. If a small shower passes through, tarps will pulled over the equipment and hopefully the event will resume shortly after it passes.

In the event of adverse weather causing the event to be cancelled, a decision will be made in the afternoon before the event. If you don't receive an email (please check spam) or see a notification on socials, than please assume the event is still on! Notifications will be most up to date via Instagram/facebook stories – (@TomHarringtonMusic). An email will also be issued as soon as possible prior to 5.15pm. If it is cancelled, a rescheduled date will be advised asap (most likely in December). If unable to attend the new date than full refunds will be issued.
