Event description

Enjoy a short wildflower walk in Tomaree National Park

Tomaree boasts a wonderland of winter wildflowers, especially along its sandy heathy woodlands.  The Friends of Tomaree National Park are leading the walks as part EcoNetwork Port Stephens Sustainability Futures Festival. Find festival information at ecops.au/sff.

Saturday 13 August 1 pm

Sunday 14 August 9 am

Tuesday 16 August 9.30 am

Each walk is an easy circuit on fairly flat sandy tracks, shade is variable. The walk is 1 - 1.5 hrs.

Participants will be advised of the meeting place closer to the walk dates, depending on what is flowering. The walks will be in the northern end of Tomaree National Park, most likely in the Fingal Bay area. Closer to the time we will confirm the wildflowers spot!

The Friends of Tomaree National Park acknowledge we live, meet and work on the lands of the Worimi People. We pay respect to Elders, past, present and future, and acknowledge the pivotal role of First Nations People within the Australian community.
