What to expect

Tomaree NP boasts a wonderland of winter wildflowers, especially along its sandy heathland areas. The Friends of Tomaree National Park, as part EcoNetwork Port Stephens Sustainability Futures Festival, are leading the walks. Find festival information at ecops.au/sff.

Each walk is an easy circuit on fairly flat sandy tracks, shade is variable. The walk is about 1 - 1.5 hrs.

Participants will be advised of the meeting place closer to the walk date, depending on what is flowering. The walks will be in the northern end of Tomaree National Park, most likely in the Fingal Bay area.

What to wear or bring:

Please bring a water bottle for your use during the walk. Your protection is important to us. Please wear sun protection including a sunhat, and covered shoes. If rain is forecast, please bring a jacket.
