Tomato Workshop with Andrew

This practical workshop will cover everything you need to know to get your tomatoes off to a strong start and keep them healthy and productive through the growing season.

We’ll look at choosing the right varieties, when to plant, where to grow them and how to prepare the soil. We’ll also cover feeding, watering, staking and pruning, along with some of the common pests, diseases and problems that can affect tomato plants.

We’ll talk about growing tomatoes in the garden, raised beds and pots, with practical tips for getting the best results in our Tasmanian climate.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion, so bring along anything you’re wondering about before planting your tomatoes.

You’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to get your tomato plants growing strongly and producing a great crop.
