An uplifting and fun tribute to learning and growing — to making mistakes and making amends — Tomorrow is a Brand-New Day is a message of hope: hard days come and go, but love is with us always. Set to the sounds of woodwind and percussion instruments, this new work by composer Alan John brings Davina Bell and Allison Colpoy’s charming picture book to life.
This short, interactive session is a perfect first musical experience for young people aged 5-8, the audience are invited to participate in the storytelling and learn about all the different instruments being played.
The performance includes:
• A live reading of a giant format book by a children's entertainer
• Musical accompaniment that brings the action and emotion of the book to life
• Interactive elements for the audience that teach about music and music making (eg. sound effect making with body percussion, actions, call and response)
