Fabled is thrilled to host local author and poet Tonee Shelton to discuss her book, Identity Crisis, on Tuesday, September 17th at 7PM. 

About the Book:

A collection of poetry that encapsulates the experience of other. What is it like to deal with imposter syndrome? How do we rise to the challenge of being the “first” and the “only?” Tackling subjects such as race, gender, religion and identity, Ms. Shelton’s Identity Crisis gives voice to those who have never belonged.

About the Author:

Tonee B. Shelton is a poet and author and enjoys creating poetry for live readings to engage people and inspire others to believe in themselves. She has written three volumes of poetry, In Search of Freedom (2021), Identity Crisis (2022) and Remnants (2023) and she just completed her first book of prose, No One is Coming to Save You (2024), a call to action for everyone to embrace their gifts and unique talents to create the life that they desire. A conversationalist, Tonee believes in the power of words and art and that if applied strategically, can transform, uplift, and inspire people to do beautiful things.
