Event description

For the first time, Toniic is bringing its regional gathering to Israel! We are delighted to welcome you to a 100% and EMEA regional gathering as well as two days of local tours on the 26-29 October 2022. We will dive into the local ecosystem, deep discussions, investment opportunities and time to connect. We are very grateful to the local membership group who are supporting our efforts and to our member and event partner Lital Slavin who will host us.

Below you will find an outline of the four days. A more detailed agenda, attendee list and speaker details can be found on the event site here.

The prices for this gathering is reflective of the high cost of living in Tel-Aviv. As we are a non-profit organization, every event needs to be self-sustaining. Please note, the ticket prices include lunch and dinner for all days. We kindly ask for your understanding.

For this gathering we have four days planned:

Wednesday 26 October - 100% gathering
(Exclusive for 100% members and prospective 100% members)

  • We will be hosted in the home of Lital Slavin in Tel Aviv to dive deep into a range of topics and connect. We will start the day with early morning yoga, after a breakfast break we will start the gathering. We will enjoy a portfolio deep dive by Lital Slavin, a discussion and personal sharing  around "How much is enough” with Robert Boogaard and Brent Kessel to mention a few things. If weather allows, we will host parts of the day on the beach just a short walk from Lital’s home. The evening will be spent at a cozy restaurant to further connect and spend quality time together. At 9:00 PM, we will screen a short documentary from Media for Change (All toniic members are invited to watch together regardless of 100% day participation)

Thursday 27 October - Regional EMEA gathering

  • Thursday is the main day, bringing together all members that are joining us in Tel Aviv. We will be hosted at Lital Slavin’s home this day as well in Tel Aviv. We look forward to bringing together the Israel member community with everyone traveling in to join us. We will have a discussion around systems and infrastructure, including learning more about Dessert Technology and how investing in the MENA region. In the afternoon we will hear from 3-4 investment opportunities. We will have a relaxed evening with some local music (TBC) and food from innovative Israeli entrepreneurs.

Friday 28 October - Tour to Jerusalem

  • On the tour day we will meet at Jaffa Gate for a 3-4 hour tour and lunch lead by Marla S.. We will then leave Jerusalem and visit Qasr El Yehud where we will have a presentation by the NGO ECOPEACE (TBC). Afterwards we will spend some time at the Dead Sea so everyone who wants can float in the sea! Last stop will be a short drive to the viewpoint of St. George's monastery and then we will make our way back to Tel Aviv with a quick stop in Jerusalem if anyone wishes to get off the bus there. Back in Tel Aviv the official program is concluded but members are generously invited by Assaf H. and Shelly G. for drinks and dinner in the city should you wish to join. You can also opt to continue the tour to the West Bank on Sunday, which then picks you up directly at the Dead Sea.
