Event description

Thanks to the support of Renewal SA, Flinders University and Micro-X, the Tonsley Science Fair returns in 2023 on Sunday 19th March.  The Science Collective is pleased to be offering two fabulous 3 hour sessions on the day with amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.

Be entertained by some magic tricks from the quirky Wipe Out Waste Wizard, sing along with Prof Flint of the Dinosaur University and don't miss SciFiBri's Fire and Froth Show!  The shows are complemented by a day of hands-on science fun with rocket making and launching, pinwheel creations, bridge building, marshmallow and spaghetti tower challenges and an electric circuit challenge.  No Science Collective event would ever be complete without the Slime Bar, guaranteed to ensure that every child can take home their very own (non-messy) slime creation. Techspace Learning will also offer an interactive robotics display and fans of Dr Who will be delighted to learn that there will be Daleks!  IgniteVR will also be there with their fantastic Virtual Reality booths.

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So for the first time ever at a Science Collective event all children under the age of 16 are FREE (but still need tickets).   We have also reduced the cost of adult tickets to just $8.

We may have to cap numbers at some point, so don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
