Event description

The Mulloon Institute is excited to announce that this year's Tony Coote AM Memorial Lecture will be delivered by the Hon Shane Stone AC QC, Co-ordinator General of the National Recovery and Resilience Agency.

The National Recovery and Resilience Agency supports communities impacted by disaster and delivers initiatives to reduce risk and lessen the impacts of future shocks, including making sure that all Australians are better prepared for the future impact of climate extremes.

Shane is also the Chairman of the Order of Australia Council, the penultimate authority that recommends to the Governor-General Australia’s civil honours list.

“Mulloon is pushing back the frontiers of understanding and knowledge of rehydrating properties, dealing with soil moisture and quality, all of which impacts so importantly on productivity in the agricultural sector.”
- Hon Shane Stone AC QC
