Ecstatic dance can help to unlock trapped emotions like a form of somatic therapy leaving you feeling energetic, joyful, refreshed and alive.

💫 What is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance practice where you move to the music as you wish. It's a form of movement meditation that focuses on being present and moving according to your body's needs. We create a dance club culture connecting community to a clean dancefloor deep in the music through freestyle movement.

💫 So then, what is free-form dance?

Free-form dance means that you can move however you please, there's no right or wrong. The dance floor is a space for you to explore movement and be carried and moved by the music. It's an opportunity to listen deeply to your body, flow with your emotions, connect with others without the need for words and experience the natural euphoria as we become elevated through movement. No matter what your dance experience or how you are feeling - you are welcome just as you are.

The music weaves a mixture of musical delights and tempos to activate the dance floor and get us moving in a range of ways. Genres include: chill-out, global beats, house, trance, ethnic electronica, reggae, EDM, bass, instrumental, ambient, techno, jungle and much more.

Currently this dance is for women over 18 only but keep a look out for family friendly and other themed sessions in the future!
