TOR is a Vancouver-based music producer and DJ, who made his musical intentions clear in 2012 with his debut album - 'Drum Therapy'.

Known for his signature warmth and beat-driven atmospherics, Tor draws upon the deeper experiences and emotions that have informed his journey. Following a career that has seen him produce remixes for Clozee, Frameworks, Rüfüs Du Sol, Max Cooper, Odesza, Emancipator, Edamame & Fejka - TOR has found focus after slowing down and establishing roots, finding centre and introspection in a new living space.

His most recent album 'Oasis Sky' is a vibrant exploration of melody and rhythm, featuring bittersweet piano and warped keys, alongside sliding bass and clattering hi-hats. Parallel to these new expeditions in synthesis and sound design, sampling continues to play an important part in his process. Throughout the album, Tor has pulled from an eclectic palette: textures and snippets from Finnish folk hymns, spiritual jazz, prog rock, ‘60s Rwandan field recordings, and early ambient & experimental records. Since Oasis Sky’s release, it has gone on to accumulate over 15 million streams - earning the ultimate accolade of 'Electronic Album of the Year' at the prestigious Juno Awards in 2022.

We needed a venue fit for an artist of Tor's calibre, so we are excited to announce Turtle Cove Beach Resort will be hosting this very special event! Think tropical beach, clear water, palm trees & top notch hospitality!

***Accommodation @ Turtle Cove now SOLD OUT***

For those wishing to stay near the venue there is a campground and bungalows available at Ellis Beach. We can organise transfers from there via our bus service, details soon.

***IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE: NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE UNLESS YOU ARE BOOKING A ROOM FOR THE EVENING***

[ TRANSPORT ]


Transport from both Cairns and Port Douglas available. We will also be organising pickups from Hartley's Crocodile Adventures for those that wish to drive, as there is NO PARKING AVAILABLE AT VENUE.

Cairns line pickups: Pier bus stop, Anaconda Smithfield, Hartleys Crocodile Adventures. To register your interest please send an email titled "TOR Bus Service" to irukandjicollective.com, along with your preferred pickup location.

Cost will be $40pp from Cairns. Transfers from Hartleys will be at a discounted rate.
