Event description

Our very first Farm to Table event celebrates Kaanga Ma or White Maize which is grown here in our three sisters paddock. It's ground to make fresh masa and turned into tostadas by legendary chef Giulio Sturla. Giulio's Mapu Test Kitchen is one of the most exciting places to eat in New Zealand, and we can't wait to have him cooking on the farm.

It's difficult to convey the deliciousness of a freshly made tostada, but you can experience them for yoursel, along with a farm tour.

We'll collect ingredients, wander through our food forests and gardens sharing our Permaculture and food growing tips.
