TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE tour
Event description
The last BIG eclipse of 2025 and its a Supermoon. This is the event that has been discussed in the media for weeks and this event is your opportunity to experience it first-hand. Your guide will provide a minute by minute description as the Moon enters the Earths shadow just before 2:30 am (the patial phase is the fun part), is completely immersed between 3:30 and 4:50am and exits again just before the Moon sets at 6:00am.
Other highlights include viewing of Saturn (visible all night), Jupiter (from about 4;30am) and the Orion association, an active star forming area about 1500 light years away. The Perseid meteor shower, which has been recently active, peaks this weekend. You will also hear about the Universe and our place in it and we will answer all your questions.
The early morning start may be a bit daunting but, weather permitting, it will be well worth it. Please bring a chair to sit on if you like and warm clothing.
