Tough Guy Book Club

Following the resounding success of this evening in 2025, as part of this year’s Beda Reada Festival (Book Weeks), we are pleased to invite students and a significant male of his choosing to our Mentone Campus Library to participate in a meeting of the Tough Guys Book Club.

Based on the international network of Tough Guy Book Club, the St Bede’s College chapter is a welcome opportunity to connect with others across senior year levels to read and discuss a novella. Through this, we can foster a growing community of students reading for enjoyment and socialisation.

As young people are influenced by the adults around them, the positive impact of males who read has vast potential. The evening will also provide practical strategies for supporting your student to enhance his recreational reading habits.
