This is what for Shape HR's Talk: Mastering Difficult Conversations Workshop was designed for.

This course includes four online hands-on training events where you will explore approaches that have been developed and tested through a decade of conducting career and life-changing conversations in Human Resources. On the below dates you will cover the following modules:

Module 1: Self awareness- exploring own preferences and potential biases which get in the way of competently and confidently executing difficult conversations.

(15/10/2020 10:00am-11:30am)

Module 2: Building foundations- Considerations to prepare for difficult conversations. This includes identifying stakeholders, attuning to emotional impact, psychological threat mitigation, selecting content and drafting for real life tough talk scenarios.

(29/10/2020 10:00am-11:30am)

Module 3: Getting Down with Difficult – Practicing preparation and execution of above tools and approaches on common but difficult scenarios and situations that were pre-selected by participants.

Module 4: Staying on Track- Exploring strategies for overcoming common traps which threaten to derail conversations and dealing with our own emotions and their impact. Continued work on pre-selected scenarios.

Post course BONUS:- Participants experience a complimentary one to one Organisational Coaching session (1-1.5 hours) with me to focus on a difficult conversation scenario or workplace issue.
