Tour: Symbolism in Church Art and Architecture

Presented by the Rev'd Christopher Waterhouse, Rector of St. James'

Schedule:

2:30pm-3:15pm Tour

3:15pm-3:45pm Afternoon Tea in the Crypt and Courtyard

4pm-5pm Choral Evensong

Free to attend, donations welcome.

Join the Rector of St James' for a tour of St. James' Church looking at the symbolism contained within the art and architecture of our church building. The tour will focus especially on the stained glass windows, mosaics, some of the vestments and the exquisite Children's Chapel in the Crypt.

After the tour, join us for a relaxed afternoon tea served in the Crypt and Courtyard and then stay for Choral Evensong at 4pm.

Admission is free, but please do register in advance so we can plan the catering.
