Le Tour de BIKES and BEERS - Into the Wild West
Event description
We're back!
A backtrack urban tour of Melbourne, taking you on some paths, tracks and roads you have never ridd'n and some brewers you've drink'n!
All in the name of Tour de France, because after all it's July and the big dance is on, so why not wind our way through the Wild West of Melbourne visiting some great breweries along the way.
Just like the times before, this is not your traditional brewery crawl, sure a few frothies will be tasted, but mark my words an element of cycling skill will be required.
It will be an adventure, a tour on bikes with mates, with refreshments and no doubt a few laughs .
$15 Cover charge includes:
Arrival espresso shot at Bridge Road Brewers Brunswick to get you caffeinated up before the first cycling sector!
A cleansing ale when we arrive back at Bridge Road Brewers at the end. (Pint of your Choice)
And of course the special route with breweries we have put together for you!
YOU MUST BRING:
- BIKE LIGHTS
- BIKE LOCK - something to lock your bike up while to pop into each brewery.
- KNOBBY TIRES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Gravel bike or MTB bikes will be more fun
- ROAD BIKES - Can be done, but with wider width tires (30-32mm)
The format of the ride will be a leisurely pace, and regrouping at each brewery. If you get lost, dropped or have a mechanical. No problem, just Google search the next brewery on the list and B-line it to there to meet us on schedule.
