Tour of Bloom - Sunday

Take a tour of Bloom, a thoughtful addition to a 1920s Brisbane home that transforms a constrained suburban site into a light-filled family sanctuary.

Bloom is a contemporary alterations and additions project to a 1920s character dwelling, reimagined for a young family. A residual outcome of a 1980s battle-axe subdivision, the site offered little usable private open space. The solution lifts the landscape above street level by replacing an existing embankment with a garage structure, creating a generous outdoor domain where yard, pool, and living spaces flow together, capturing morning light, treetop vistas, and north-easterly breezes.
