    Event description

This event sold out in 36 hours or less! We will try to add another one later this year.... FYI: This tour is always a part of SOMA Camp, and registration for Camp begins on November 16th, 2024.

Join SOMA for a tour of Gourmet Mushrooms – Mycopia in Sebastopol on Oct 12th, 2024. Tour tickets are very limited (30 total), so be sure to register right away if you are interested.

Mycopia rarely opens their doors for public tours, but we’re hoping to make this offering an annual event. This tour is always totally full during SOMA Camp, so we've decided to add another opportunity with great thanks to the folks of Mycopia! The tour will be hosted by Justin Reyes, Mycopia's National Sales Director, who is also a current SOMA board member and SOMA's former President.

Gourmet Mushrooms is the oldest and largest specialty mushroom farm in the United States. In addition to fresh mushrooms, the company also produces a range of nutraceutical offerings and collaborates with some of the burgeoning myco-material companies.

As always, all income associated with the event will further SOMA's Mycological Scholarship Fund as well as our increasing efforts to contribute to the DNA sequencing of fungi in collaboration with FunDis, Mycota Labs, and others. For those of you stoked to contribute more to this cause, there is an added donation option!

Thank you for your support :)

    * Self-initiated refunds are available 7 days prior to the event. Otherwise, please don't reserve a spot unless you fully intend to join!
