One Planet Living Site Tours PLUS Networking

ONE PLANET LIVING COMMUNITIES - Site Tours & Networking 1.30 to 4.30  and then 4.30 to 6.00

This is an immersive workshop that will take you a number of sites that will enable you to experience the application of One Planet Living and meet some of the One Planet Living Action Plan Champions. Afterwards you will be part of a network event with some exciting announcements related to One Planet Living in WA

Site Tours  

This unique tour will be provide a practical experience of housing and mixed use developments that show how the One Planet Living Action Plan process and tools have been used in delivering One Planet Living Communities'. Experts will talk to you about their experience and showcase the inspirational aspects of their approach as well as the challenges they faced in their delivery.  

On this tour you will  4 different experiences

These tours will suit:

Professional ESD consultants, property developers, real estate agents, property investment portfolio managers. State Government and Local Government agencies dealing with housing and urban development, who wish to understand the process for applying the One Planet Living framework and can demonstrate their green credentials to stakeholder's and clients through 3rd party review. 

Content

Your will have a tour host and rotate around the three developments, spending approximately 45 minutes at each site. 

Activities include:

• Touring the sites and discussing the innovative approaches using the One Planet living Framework  
• Discussing the aspirations and challenges during the One Planet living action plan process 
• Understanding the strategies and actions, targets and measures delivering a One Planet Living Action Plan
• How does the value for money and WIFM narrative stack up against BAU approach to development?

Networking 

We will celebrate the  City of Fremantle as a One Planet Living Council in the networking session after the tours PLUS some great announcements. 

Outcomes

On completion,  participants will have a practical knowledge of the One Planet Living framework and how it has been applied in developments in WA. Participants will also understand the One Planet Living Action Plan, and the peer review process as as part of the national and international leadership recognition process.
