    Event description

I have been inundated with requests from people asking whether it is possible to visit Sophie's Patch before it is handed it over to the new owners. Bearing this in mind, I have decided to put on 2 individual tours for those who like me share a love of nature, plants and the history of the garden.  Sophie's Patch has, over 12 years, been a sanctuary, a place to bring up a family, share the love of animals and all things that grow.  It has enhanced friendships and created new ones whilst educating, providing food for those in need and giving us the feeling of hope through some dark times. It has provided much joy to many under our stewardship.

We have chosen to offer a personally guided garden tour of Sophie’s Patch on Saturday 2nd December and Saturday 9th December starting at 1.30pm until 3.30pm. A guided tour is a great way to see the property and understand my vision over 11 years. My tour includes tea, coffee and delicious home cooked cakes made from produce grown at Sophie’s Patch.

Appropriate clothing, sunscreen and footwear will need to be worn depending on the weather conditions of the day and there will be a hot weather policy in case the weather is over 35 degrees that day. It will be memorable and enjoyable, both for us and for those who join us, as we share the beauty and awesomeness of Nature.
