The Slow Home Project – An Adventure Towards Connected Dwelling.

This is not so much a house, but a series of ideas. A process rather than an end presentation or appearance. A slowing down in our approach to home design and construction, through consideration of connection, time, identity, and affordability.

This project explores a robust approach where experience is favoured over style. Where pockets of joy are discovered amongst the “in-between spaces”, achieving more with less. A home that is designed to start as little more than a simple room and evolve toward something more over time.  Through a planned approach, at a considered pace, towards an understood goal, where both the master plan for the home, and the journey to achiever it over time are considered. This project recognises that in slowing down, there is value in the experience and the home enjoyed along the way.
