A unique partnership between the University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Mater Research, and Queensland Health, TRI has been translating research and innovation into improved healthcare since 2012.

The building's design embraces Brisbane's emphasis on openness and natural light, with large windows, visible activity across floors, and views into the atrium creating a sense of transparency and connection. This collaborative layout reflects the facility's ethos: a connected community of research that links hospitals, universities, advanced manufacturing, and industry tenants to amplify collective capability.

Located within the Princess Alexandra Hospital campus, TRI's co-location with clinicians, industry, and government organisations enables seamless collaboration across the full research pipeline, supported by shared core facilities and ENTRI, a clinical-grade manufacturing hub.

Visitors will have the opportunity to preview ENTRI ahead of its official opening later this year.
