    As a part of the Heritage Festival,Β The Friends of Ethel Turner will be hosting tours of historic 'Woodlands' Killara on Sunday 5th May.

    The theme for this year's festival is 'Connections' andΒ we'll be sharing 'Woodlands' rich heritage and architecture and stories of past resident and blue plaque recipient, Ethel Turner, author of the classic, Seven Little Australians.

    So, pleaseΒ join us as we step back in timeΒ to the late 19th-centuryΒ rural North Shore.Β All tours end with a cuppa and treat as you listen toΒ aΒ dramatic reading fromΒ Seven Little AustraliansΒ by our President and Historian Susannah Fullerton, OAM.

    Tours are 45 minutes in duration.

    Tours run every 30 minutes.

    Note: this is a private residence. InsideΒ access is limited to guided rooms only. No shoes inside.Β
