Towards a Co-Constructed Vision for Education Equity
Description
What does an equitable education system really look like, and how do we build it?
The big picture
Over the past year, the Education Equity Alliance (EEA) and The Collective, a collaboration of 25+ NGOs and philanthropic organisations, brought together more than 300 students, educators, philanthropists, academics, NGOs and government leaders to work on this question.
The result
A co-constructed vision for a more equitable education system, captured in EEA's Priority 1 Thought Paper: Visions of an Equitable Education System for Low-SES School Communities.
Why it matters
It's a practical roadmap shaped by the lived experience of young people and educators, and designed to help shift outcomes for students in low-SES school communities.
