Exhibition Overview

Towards Jericho is a group exhibition showcasing the work of 26 emerging and established artists from across the Levant and so-called Australia, whose practices engage in acts of solidarity with Palestine through visual, political, and cultural resistance.

Curated by Georgia Mulholland and Samar Abedrabo, the exhibition meditates on the notion of homeland—honouring ancestry, holding memory, and imagining the possibility of return.

Jericho—one of the world’s oldest cities—serves as both metaphor and anchor. For Palestinians, it represents the liminal space between exile and return: the final checkpoint before departure, and the first threshold upon coming home. Within diasporic and transnational contexts, Jericho becomes a site of longing—for rootedness, belonging, and the continuity of cultural memory.

All works are available through silent auction, with 100% of proceeds supporting crisis aid for a family in Gaza through the work of Made in Palestine.

Towards Jericho is a curatorial project grounded in care, cultural preservation, and creative defiance—an echo of return, even when return feels impossible.
