Join Toxic Bears, Two Dee and DNO for a night of experimental punk complimented with some of the grooviest house, disco, hip-hop, and funk takes you’ll find anywhere.
The Bears bring two sets of their latest eclectic sounds, ranging from melodic hardcore to funk, indie, jazz and Latin-infused garage alt rock. The show unveils a trove of unreleased new music building on their four previous album releases. In true Bear’s style, they delve into the stories and lives that define our age as revealed by charlatan clairvoyants, the royal family, oddly masked bandits, family feuds, guns for hire, and the challenges of living with uncertainty.
The band is joined by Two Dee and DNO, two of Brisbane’s most original and longest standing DJs. Two Dee has been representing hip-hop, funk, disco, and house as a Brisbane based DJ and producer since the 90s. Two Dee draws on a huge array of styles with a nod towards disco. DNO is a founding influence on the Australian underground hip-hop scene. He has MC’d with acts such as The Resin Dogs and DJs in clubs across Brisbane.
