Event description

Toy Hospital Workshop:

If you have younger children in your life chances are you also have dealt with a lot of broken toys.  Often we end up throwing a lot of toys away that could be fixed!  This workshop will give you the skills and confidence to repair most of those broken toys.  Learn how to sew up those busted plushies.  Find out which glue works with which type of plastic and the best way to repair them.  We will also cover the basics of book mending, reattaching spines, and repairing a broken cover.  We have glues, needles, thread, tape and all the necessary tools you'll need for your repairs.  You are encouraged to bring in broken toys but it is not required.

This project is supported by the Circular Economy Communities Fund delivered by Sustainability Victoria under the Victorian Government’s circular economy plan, Recycling Victoria: a new economy. This project is also supported by Brimbank City Council.
