Traction Immersion
Description
Your idea deserves more than “one day.”
What could happen if you gave your idea an entire weekend?
Got a business idea you can't stop thinking about? A startup you're trying to get off the ground? Or something you've already started but aren't quite sure how to take further?
Bring it to Traction Immersion.
A hands-on weekend designed to give you the time, space, tools and guidance to make serious progress on your own business idea.
Whether you're taking your very first steps or already building something, this is your opportunity to step away from the everyday distractions and focus on moving your idea forward.
Your idea. Your weekend. Real progress.
This isn't a weekend of sitting through presentations, collecting business advice and wondering what to do with it all on Monday.
You'll be doing the work.
Across the weekend, you'll dig into your idea, challenge assumptions, explore opportunities, understand your customers and start building or refining something tangible.
You might be working on your first business concept, testing a product or service, refining your business model or figuring out what's holding your startup back.
Everyone will arrive at a different stage, with different challenges.
That's the point. The weekend is about moving your idea forward from wherever you are now.
Meet your facilitator: Oliver Bazzani
Startup founder. Investor. Innovation leader. Entrepreneurial educator.
With more than eight years of experience across Australia's startup and innovation ecosystem, Oliver Bazzani knows what it takes to turn promising ideas into real-world opportunities.
As Director of Perth Biodesign and Biodesign Australia, he works with emerging innovators to develop solutions, test ideas and build new ventures.
His experience spans founding businesses, advising and investing in startups, designing entrepreneurship programs and managing WA's largest angel investor network. He also serves on the WA Government's Innovation Advisory Board.
At Traction Immersion, he'll bring that experience into the room, guiding participants through a hands-on weekend of business exploration, development and practical problem-solving.
From challenging assumptions to working through roadblocks and making important business decisions, he'll help you focus on what matters most to move your idea forward.
This isn't just someone who understands startups. It's someone who has built, backed and helped develop them.
Guidance when you need it
You won't be figuring everything out alone.
Throughout the weekend, you'll have access to mentors who can bring fresh perspectives, practical experience and specialist guidance to the challenges you're working through.
Whether you need to pressure-test an assumption, explore a new direction or work through a roadblock, you'll have people to challenge your thinking and help you move forward.
Not just advice. Guidance you can put to work on your own idea.
Who is it for?
Traction Immersion is for anyone who:
Has a business idea but doesn't know where to start.
Is exploring a startup, product or service.
Has already started a business and needs guidance on what comes next.
Wants to test an opportunity before investing more time or money.
Has hit a roadblock and needs fresh thinking.
Is ready to dedicate a weekend to making meaningful progress.
You don't need a polished business plan, a registered business or a perfect pitch.
Just bring an idea, an opportunity or a challenge you're ready to work on.
What will you walk away with?
By the end of the weekend, you'll have had the opportunity to:
Develop and strengthen your business idea.
Better understand your customers and the problem you're solving.
Challenge assumptions and test possibilities.
Build or refine something tangible.
Gain practical feedback from experienced mentors.
Identify your priorities and create a clearer plan for moving forward.
The goal isn't to build an entire business in a weekend.
It's to make the kind of progress that's difficult when you're trying to figure everything out on your own.
A stronger idea. Something tangible. A clearer path forward.
Ready to go all in on your idea?
You've probably spent plenty of time thinking about it.
Now give yourself a weekend to do something with it.
Your idea. Expert guidance. One weekend to move it forward.
Places are limited. Secure your spot.
