TRACTION: Yarra River
Event description
Join us at Yarra Bend for TRACTION, an opportunity to give back to the trails and come together with the trail-loving community.
At this event, our Trail Action will be picking up rubbish, which is sadly abundant in this popular inner-city green space.At this free event, you’ll hear from Park Victoria volunteers about the health of the Park, and some of the special critters that call it home.
Over two hours, we’ll pick up rubbish along busy walking trails, learn more about the park and meet new members of the community.All of the necessary equipment will be provided, as well as refreshments afterwards.
This is a plastic-free event, so please bring your own reusable water bottle. Please wear appropriate exercise gear, closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate gear (raincoat, hat, etc)
