Tradies Tools Down is more than just an event to bring our community together, it's an initiative designed to raise awareness about mental health and solutions within the construction and related communities. Our mission is to transform industry discussions around wellness, fostering an environment where stigma associated with mental health is reduced, and individuals are inspired to communicate openly.

On March 20th, 2026 Tradies Tools Down will be taking place. We urge all construction, trades, and related industry businesses to put their tools down and join us at the TSB Stadium for a free event.

This year, award-winning journalist and straight talker Paddy Gower is joining us as keynote speaker. He’s speaking about some hard truths, cutting through the noise, and getting honest about the stuff that matters.

You’ll also hear from a local panel of industry pros - people who know the pressures from the inside, and have found ways to navigate the tough times and look after their teams.
