Learn how to make and cook delicious dumplings!
Hellen from Yummy Dumplings makes delicious homemade dumplings with fresh ingredients. They are at the Tasmanian Produce Market at Kangaroo Bay every Saturday and are happy to be returning to Story Festival this year to show how you can make them too!
Hellen was born in the spiciest food region of China, was influenced by the northern region culture and her father, a proficient Chinese chef for dumpling-making. She was trained as a hospitality professional in Les Roches and Glion Swissland, worked in Intercontinental Hotels Group after graduation and moved to the aviation industry later.
This workshop culminates in a shared meal (from 7pm - 7.30pm on Sunday the 19th and 8pm-8.30pm on Monday the 20th). Please advise of dietary requirements at checkout. Please note that some dietary requirements may not be able to be met due to the nature of this cuisine. Get in touch with us if you have any concerns or queries.
Don't forget to bring a takeaway container to take home any leftovers!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please arrive on time - or better yet, a little early, as all sessions will start on time. There will be coffee and tea available while you wait, and you may even get to see the results of other workshops!
