Love to Craft or Wondered what it’s like to weave ? From Bowls , Baskets, Bags to even the quintessential palm leaf Island Hat .. Yes , you can now learn these , here on the paradise like, North Stradbroke island.
Come, join in these circles and learn how to make your own traditional handicraft with Joy ! Sharing in my many years experience in weaving techniques & instruction, I like to create a relaxing, fun and informative weavers circle. Each woven handicraft I teach is unique and with plenty of island style & vibe, and can be great to gift to yourself or another ☺️ Learn to weave natural fibres in an inclusive* & relaxed environment. For these special Stradbroke island workshops, you will be learning how to weave your own bowl, standing basket or shoulder bag.
It’s a great value workshop - you'll learn about Pacific nation's Culture & weave in traditional forms and come away with your own handcrafted treasure ! Limited spots only available at 10 persons per workshop, All weaving materials are provided.. bring shared plate for snacks and your host will bring lots of tea and coffee and snacks too. Yes, encourage a friend to join with you, for an enhanced, fun and relaxed learning experience together plus a nice day out :) Cost $ 60 - 72 (Seniors/Pcc Card) . Children (aged 10 - 16 ) $50

Presented by @ Cococreative_crafts and Enhanced Eco Designs. Amanda Joy has been fortunate to have spent time growing up in the cultures of the Pacific Ocean, and learnt traditional weaving techniques from a young age. She is so excited to share in island culture with her participating guests.
